Tuncurry Pickleball officially becomes a club
Published Sat 07 Dec 2024
Danny Biancardi, the tennis coach and manager of Sporties Tennis Club, welcomed Sonia and Mary with open arms when they started the Tuncurry player group. Initially they used masking tape for lines then graduated to chalk lines. They now have three permanently lined courts. Their portable nets are left set up and the courts are available for hire.
Locals and visitors are welcome. Having recently become an affiliated club with PANSW they would like to focus on holding a few competitions as well as promoting more social play. They have spare nets, and if they get an influx of holiday makers, they chalk up more courts.
Sonia says it is an amazing place to play pickleball at. All the amenities are close by. We have shade, toilets, a clubhouse with tea and coffee available for free! Cold water is also free and there are drinks for sale.
Sporties Club is just a few steps away from us.
It has everything that a great little club has to offer. And more!
We have RV parking $5 per head with a 3 day limit. Must have you own shower and loo. There’s a dump point at the back of the club right smack bang next door to the tennis courts.
