Today PANSW assisted The Centre in Dural with their Pickleball Open Day. It was well promoted resulting in the largest registered come and try pickleball day ever run in NSW. 148 players came out to try pickleball for the first time. This is a testament to the increasing popularity and interest in our fabulous sport. We ran 2 x 2 hour sessions on 8 courts to cater for the huge turnout. At the end of the 2nd session we held a demonstration match. The Centre has fantastic
indoor courts with lots of space around them and a cafe on site. We are excited by our affiliation with The Centre and look forward to seeing how this venue grows and provides pickleball for its community!
A special shout out to Wayne Lee , Peter Schatz, Mandy Corbet, Ali Wheatley and Leanne McMillan for their assistance in running today.
