Heather and Lisa Fletcher are from Fair Dinkum Pickleball Northern Rivers.  They are passionate about promoting the sport to all ages and abilities and are proud of their inclusivity of people with all disabilities. Heather has her Level 1 IPTPA Coaching certification and is a qualified Sports Chaplain. Fair Dinkum Pickleball has four permanent courts indoors at the Alstonville Showgrounds with the ability to set up three additional courts as needed and currently operate from Thursdays to Sundays. Pacific Pickleball & MLP Australia - Australia's Official Professional Pickleball league
The Pacific Pickleball League is Australia's official professional pickleball league, featuring top opens/masters players, teams and events. In partnership with Pickleball's governing body, Pickleball Australia Association and Pickleball Association of NSW, PPL is focused on showcasing elite talent and promoting the sport.
PPL will host four events in 2023 with a total prize pool of over $200,000 AUD and has committed to a total prize purse of $700,000 AUD for the 2024 calendar of professional events across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
Pacific Pickleball has signed 33 elite local pickleball players to Australia's newest sports teams; Sydney Smash, Melbourne Mavericks, Brisbane Breakers and Gold Coast Glory. All teams will now play under the new Major League Pickleball Australia banner, the partnership marking Major League Pickleball's first international expansion.
