Toongabbie World Pickleball Day Session

The Toongabbie Picklers hosted a special session at the Binalong Tennis Courts in Old Toongabbie on Saturday, October 10th to celebrate World Pickleball Day. 14 experienced players and 18 new players participated. Priority for court time was generously given to the new players although everyone had time on court for some good games. And there was a fine selection of nibbles to enjoy off court! Suzanne and Hans March offered introductory coaching sessions to all new players which was greatly appreciated and ensured the new players got off to a solid start.

We were also pleased to have two Parramatta Councillors, Phil Bradley and Sameer Pandey, join us for WPD. Parramatta Council support for developing pickleball in the area and for promoting the WPD session has been outstanding.
