Seymour (“Rif”) Rifkin was in Sydney again in December to train pickleball coaches under the IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) certification program.  The coaching sessions were held at the King George V Recreation Centre in the Rocks on Saturday December 14 and Sunday, December 15.  The Saturday session was dedicated to developing Level 1 coaches.  8 players attended and completed the Level 1 training session as shown in the photo below.

Having completed Level 1 coaching training earlier in 2019, Bob Mendelsohn, Hans March, Suzanne March and Tony Morgan successfully completed the Level 2 training held on Sunday, December 15 and have subsequently passed compulsory testing to become Level 2 pickleball coaches.  Congratulations to Bob, Hans, Suzanne and Tony on becoming the first registered IPTPA certified Level 2 pickleball coaches in New South Wales!
